I had an interesting meeting yesterday with a company called Mob4Hire.
Mob4Hire is an interesting idea where developers can submit applications that they want beta tested, specify what functionality they want testing, on what devices and on what networks, in return they offer a cash incentive.
Anyone can register as a tester, once you register you are presented with a list of testing opportunities, each of which has a testing duration so you’ll know how much time you’ll need to invest. Each opportunity either has a cash value associated with it, or you place a bid on how much you think your time is worth to complete the beta.
For developers it’s a great way to reach out to the community and have applications tested and get valuable feedback. For consumers it a great way to test new software and potentially make a little $$$$ in the process.
You can learn more about Mob4Hire at their website.
